Okay, probably the best way to do this will be to run the wire around the baseboard until you are as close to the speaker as you can get. Then you will need a wire pulling rod.... they can be pretty expensive because usually you have to buy them in sets that connect to make rods up to 30' length, but you can just buy one of these from ebay... I have one of them and they work great http://cgi.ebay.com/GLOW-ROD-GLO-ROD-FIBERGLASS-WIRE-PULLING-FISH-TAPE_W0QQitemZ5996609950QQcategoryZ20589QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem. Then you will need to make a VERY small hole in the carpet and push the rod under the carpet and possibly the carpet pad (that way the wire wont show as much). Push the wire pulling rod under the carpet and/or pad towards the baseboard where the wire is... attach the wire to the rod and pull. Just search google for "Wire Pulling Rods" and you will be able to find more rods... if you need more than 8 feet then you will probably have to buy a set of fiberglass rods that screw into each other extending the length up to 30'.
