I went from a smaller room with M3s,(which sounded great) into a larger room with the same M3s(which then sounded somewhat strained) I then went with M50s(cause they sound like big M3s)in the larger room and they sound great The larger room needs a larger speaker to really sound satisfying, IMHO. Where the problem come in, is that the M50s don't sound quite like M22s! What you have to do is understand which speaker "Sound" you're after. My suggestion would be to determine if you prefer the M22 "sound" or the M3 "sound" and then go with the bigger brother of that version-cause that's a pretty big room for the little guys!
