Not really yet, most look pretty good to me but I've just started looking. However, I do like the look of the 50" Grand WEGA™ 3LCD HDTVKDF-E50A10. Nice clean design, but I don't yet know how the picture stacks up.

60% tv

20% movies

Anything around there is fine, i just want to get a decent value for my money. Trouble I have is I've seen some samsungs around $1700 that look pretty good which is a big savings over the $2500 sony, but I don't really know which is the better deal.

Whoa, I did not know that. How can I know if a set has this problem or not?

I already did that! I've had the vp150, m22s, and qs8s for a couple years now Now I'm trying to update the last piece -- my 36 inch tv.

The picture is very nice, this is the first set I've seen where you could easily see a difference over all the others. Too bad I can't take those damn dumbo ears, not sure what they were thinking there.
