They won't play DTS if the PowerDVD software itself has to decode it. I had the same "problem" with PowerDVD. If you use SPDIF, the reciever will decode the DTS signal just fine, skipping PowerDVD's processing of audio. That's what I do all the time.

Are you trying to listen to DTS with computer speakers or headphones or something? Dunno if you will even be able to tell the difference that way vs. DD.
