here . It's highly likely that your 2600 will be fine. Although I have no speakers rated at less than a nominal 8 ohms impedance, I've experimented with running my M22s in parallel, which has resulted in a net impedance under 4 ohms at certain frequencies. I've had no problems with three rather modest receivers and this reinforces my view that, as long as the volume is kept within reasonable limits, low impedance loads can be successfully driven without resorting to monster(small m)amplification.
