I agree with Ajax. It;s most likely not an RF issue. If your IR blaster is good enough, you should not even need to use the flashers as long as the blaster is near the equipment. The IR signal just bounces all over the place.

Check out the link in my signature to see my setup. I have the MRF-250 sitting directly on top of one of the components in the cabinet and have no trouble at all. My receiver even sits on top of the whole entertainment unit and the blaster has no trouble sending an IR signal to the receiver even though the IR blaster is inside the cabinet.

Try not using the flashers and see what kind of results you get.
