I'm looking to get something better than the vp150. I've had it since last september and although I've enjoyed it, I was hoping for a more theatrical sounding speaker. My first thought was to get a higher end center from another company. Some have argued heavily against this.

So my next idea, after watching several blu rays on 2ch(M60's), was to get two more M60's to work as the center channel. I'm excited about this idea, but I haven't yet discussed it with any audio experts.
My first question is,would there be a problem with having 4 m60's across the front, two being the centers(3 ft apart)? How about a pair of M22s? And the next question being...How does one go about doing this? I was planning to get the LMC-1, LPA-1 combo to power all this. I have a yamaha v2600 at the moment. Are the emotiva's(or something else) necessary to carry that load?

Current set up: VP150, M60 mains, Qs8 surrounds, 2 M2i backs. V2600 reciever
