It was a Bang & Olufsen Beocenter 7700 and 4 cherry wood veneer speakers that came as a package. In 1982/83 they were selling for just under $5,000 or so. I don't have the speakers anymore but I keep hanging on to the Beocenter 7700 to play all those albums that so many of us Loved collecting...

At one time it was in the museum of fine arts in New York. Thought maybe one day it would be worth a fortune. Turntable with recording features, cassette and AM radio only on those early days of Bang & Olafsen in Denmark. About 25 years later, mine still works perfectly with a new needle that cost me about $200. How technology has changed... \:\)
