Now I wish I hadn't thrown out all my old cassettes. I'm afraid I listened to all of the above.

All Genres have good and bad and their unfair stereotypes.
It's easy to make fun of
-- the long haired metal head,
-- the long haired, but afraid to wear the pentagram jacket, hard rock guy
-- the punk haired punks
-- the punk haired but frilly sleeved techno guy
-- the preppy sweatered pop guy
-- the jeans and white t-shirted Merl Haggard fans

I listened to all those kinds of music back in high school but never really got labeled because I couldn't afford any kind of clothes aside from basic jeans and t-shirts. I also strangely had good friends in all of those genre groups or 'clicks' as we used to call them. A teacher who couldn't figure me out once labeled me as a high school Switzerland because it was odd to be able to wander all of the different cultured hallways unscathed.

About the only person who we all universally agreed to make fun of was the one single guy with the Bright Red, Micheal Jackson, Leather Jacket. That was just wrong. LOL!!!

With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.
