I'm planning to buy a 5.1 speaker system soon. Budget will be around 2500,00$. This system will be installed in a 12' X 18 ' room and will be equally used for music and movies.
Since I have a pair of old Energy Pro 22 for some years (make it 10 or 20) and still love the sound of them, I was looking at Energy Reference Connoisseur speakers (Front=RC-30, Centre=RC-LCR, Rear=RC-LCR and Sub=S10.3).
Problem is the Axiom Epic 60_350 system seems quite a contender here....
Question #1 : Is there someone who can share his listening experience on the Epic 60 vs Energy ?
Question #2 Is a upgrade to a VP-150 is worth the price ?
Question #3 : What should be a good amp to match the Epic 60_350 ? (I'm used to Denon or Yamaha but open to your good suggestions)
