Peter, welcome. I don't have any experience with listening to the M60 and Energy on the same occasion, which is the only listening comparison that would even come close to being valid. Hopefully you might be able to arrange to hear the M60s, which would at least give you an idea of their quality in isolation.
As to the receiver, there's no need to be concerned about looking for a "match"; clean power is universally applicable and the Axiom speakers certainly don't have any unusual requirements. A Denon, Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer or whatever which has the features that you want and fits your budget will be fine.
