I looked at a lot of models when i was looking to buy one.
Try to compare the model side-by-side and the same DVD. We found the Sharp to have more reddish color and blacks, not so black. We settled for a Sony 46" XBR2. I am very happy with the performance. Looks gr8 with PS3, HTPC, Dish. I am happy i spent the extra bucks to get Sony.

I couldnot tell the difference with the 120HZ. Maybe gamers can chime in.
