Snake, you just invested $1000-ish for an excellent receiver. Personally, I would invest significantly larger sum of money for the carefully chosen speakers, especially given that you plan to keep them for a long term. Speakers (and the room) will make a much more tangible difference in the overall sonic quality of your AV system than the rest in the chain. If it were me, I would maximally stretch the budget for the speakers and get the suite of, say, the M60/VP150/QS8 -- ~US$1600 (less if you can grab some of them from the Factory Outlet), which in my sense is still relatively "cheap" given the receiver. If you strongly prefer bookshelf fronts, then I would go with the M22s, but don't forget to budget for a pair of speaker stands.
