Indeed the G5 is a nice chip, but look at the Athlon 64 FX-51 aka the Sledgehammer - PC World and Macworld combined to do some benchmarks on 64 bit processing applications, and let's just say that the Sledgehammer just put the 'whoopin' on pretty hard. Even the 'old' 32 bit Athlon XP 3200+ Barton beat out the Mac in most cases, losing I believe in only Photoshop... So if you knew the true real-world performance you
would make a comment like that...
Just Kidding of course... My comment was only about the software and not being able to customize it to your exact specifications, like you can when you build your own PC. But still the speed numbers speak for themselves.
