I bet the high price of the EP800 lets it count as 2 speakers in order to help you get to a discount faster. Hey, if you're gonna pay that much, at least they give you a nod in the tally.
Well, Brent said they should only count as single units, but as of a couple of minutes ago, they were still counting as two. Either way, I'll get the additional 5% discount. I need two more QS8s to make it 7.1 (well, 7.2, since I'm going for two EP800s), so I'll just put those in the same order, along with the extra balanced XLR cable I'll be needing. Of course this means another payment or two that I'll have to endure, but it will be so nice when I get it all. Of course, I won't be buying anyone Christmas gifts this year.
