Here are two I have heard and both were solid:
PSB 6i ;
B&W 600's . I prefer the B&W as more well-rounded and controled, tighter might be a good descrition. But for HT, not sure you could go wrong. For music, the B&W.
This I can recomend as JL knows sub amps and subs better than anybody:
JL Gotham . It cost a little more, but should reduce dental costs by shaking your dentures out!
And, of course, you can't ignore the Axiom subs. Like the rest of their line, the value factor is huge and should far exceed what you are entitled to for the cash - what more can you ask for.
