In Peterborough we have the Peterborough lift locks which are the highest hydraulic boat lifts in the world, and pretty darn cool to see. We also have the Peterborough Petes OHL team (that I worked for) that has turned out a lot of excellent NHL hockey players, a few of which were good friends of mine from high school.
