Bought a receiver first, was going to buy a big wide screen projection HD TV, did research and found out that recording and DBS industries is pushing a new connector type DVI to implement HDCP copy right software. If they got their way, I wouldn't be able to use the new AV receiver as a control center for sattlite video because it doesn't have DVI connector. If you are thinking of buying a HDTV or AV receiver soon and you don't know about the issue of DVI/HDCP yet, you may want to take a moment to read about it.
