Thats a big issue right now. I would hold off until at least this fall before buying one. Sony has annouced their new lineup and they are supporting the DVI connector. Its not a new connector but only new for TVs, as some computer monitors have had DVI connectors for a while now. The other major companies have not really settled on what format they are using or supporting, while Sony has the Hollywood backing them....epsecially since they own studios too......I was going to buy one recently until I say all of this going on.....good thing I waited....
