I bought a used EP125 yesterday, about 8 years old. I made a huge mistake of not checking if it worked before I bought it. I paid $100 for it. Cosmetically it is just like new. However it keeps blowing fuses.
So I called Axiom. They told me that this is an older model and the newer amplifier won’t fit, I am assuming he means physically. This is the real kicker. They said they don’t have any of the older amplifiers in stock. So Axiom tells me I am out of luck.
Now, I am one not to give up easily. I want to know is, is the new amplifier in the EP125 V2 larger than the old one. If yes, then some handy and careful work with a jig saw and I am in business. Also assuming that there is no issue with hooking the new amplifier to the old driver.
Can anybody tell me what the dimensions are on the amplifier on the EP125 V2?
