The VP180 is brand new... by about a week! There are a few threads on it within the forum though. Most seem to summarize around "fantastic" or so.

Your Elite shouldn't have any problems. Axiom speakers, even the 4 Ohm ones, are easy to drive and efficient. Unless you like it insanely loud or have a cavernous area to fill!
