aside from that, yes, the M22's are (@#^$ excellent!!! they will sound great in the front, though, in the back, they may not be useful.
I have compared the Denon 1602, 1802, and 2802, the yammy 1200, and the onkyo 696 and 797, as well as the marantz 5200, i believe. They're all very good receivers, it depends on which one you seem sounds better. These are also very expensive receivers, you might not need something THAT good. Analyze your needs and see which one fulfills them best. Feel free to email me if you need a more detailed comparison between those receivers
