Reviews on treadmills are all over the place. I have been researching since I posted and am not really much farther ahead. The Livestrong unit from Canadian Tire looks to be a good buy at $1199, but I am tempted to spend a bit more for less frills and get what is a (supposedly, what do I know?) better unit like a
Precor 9.27. By specs alone it looks like you can't beat the bang for the buck on the Smooth Fitness treadmills, but I have found too many horror stories of issues and bad customer service even though all the reviews seem to be stellar. Don't think I can take that chance of ID with no return shipping on items this big and heavy.
Any other brands or advice to consider out there? Anyone, anyone,.... Bueller?
