Many years ago I had a large assortment of stereo equipment box's and speaker box's. I let a friend stay with me for a while and he had cats, they went apeshit on the cardboard. I suspect it just felt good
Boredom is probably a factor. I know what you up against tam, I have to redo mine this weekend UPS permitting and im not really looking forward to it. There is just so many wires and no matter how hard I try to organize they seem to get together over night and tangle with each other. Some sort of cord sex.
