So I made the trek to Saskatoon on the weekend to see the Pixies, unbelievable show. Unfortunately they sold out in my backyard in 4 minutes so we had to make the road trip.
Now on a somewhat related topic, the concert was recorded by an outfit called
Disclive. CDs of the show were available 10 minutes after the concert ended. I listened to it in the car on the way back yesterday (so no critical listen yet) but the recording seems to be of very high quality. I wish more bands did this (also a great way to avoid the bootlegging issue if it's of concern to them).
