I don't think you'll get that in an A/V Receiver. Almost all the ones I'm aware of just switch one of the various source inputs to the one output. You'd need some type of box that splits the output simultaneously to multiple outputs. I don't know who makes this, perhaps some commercial video company.

Another option. Take your DVD player and connect it via component to the receiver. This becomes the source for the main room. Take a composite or Svid connection from the DVD and run it to the other room. Both TV's will have different connections but it's connected to the same source. However, this doesn't help if you only want to run one cable for DVD, STB, VCR, etc.
