Badass for sure! Badass as well on the wallet.($1900) Which makes me want to go with my original plan and get some older but serious power for a great deal( I guess THX isn't a real factor)and match it to a high tech, albeit Japanese, receiver of the Yamaha etc.sort. If I use the receiver just as a processor, I can still get some smooth sound. I remember hooking up my 1000 bucker Denon receiver (very good unit 4 years ago)to my Parasound 1200 and Paradigm Stud 60's. Sounded good but something was definitely missing...like the proper connection route. I was running just the Denon. Hooked it up right and WOW what a difference. That is why I am uncertain with the lower end receiver power. I used to have a Nakamichi 1. I liked that sound.Odd enough eh! What would the choice of the street be.
