lomb7, I feel your 49ers pain. In the late 60s, the Steelers were the doormat of the NFL, then Chuck Noll and the 1970 and 1971 drafts happened. By 1973, the pain was gone and only shows up very rarely anymore. This year has been exceptional by anu standard.

I'm guessing the 49ers will resurface in 3-4 years via the draft and winter will be something that can be enjoyed rather than endured. Let's also remembr your boys had a pretty nice run of their own with Montana and Young.
