Was planning on purchasing an Epic 60/500 speaker system for a 4,000 cubic foot family room when I relocate in a few weeks. Am a bit concerned about some reviews on the internet regarding the VP150 Center channel speaker; Too Bright?;not a good match with the other speakers in the package etc. Any comments? Second I currently have a 5 yr. old Sony STR-DA333ES 80 Watt/Ch. receiver, was advised by axioms home theater experts to upgrade to a DENON AVR-2805. Have seen the 2805 & 3805 at a local retailer. Is the 3805 worth the extra cost or would it be an overkill for my listening area.
