JM, you can rely on that Panasonic(as well as others)power rating to be accurate. Since it's rated at 6 ohms, the 8 ohm rating would probably be in the area of 80 watts. If it's still in good condition this should be plenty for your M60s until you'd get a receiver with updated features.
