I saw it last week on opening day and I liked the movie. Again, not a 5 star blockbuster, but I love good sound and effects, and if you can throw in a little suspense and action, it is (sometimes) worth a look. Plus I had gotten a free ticket to see a movie from work, and my wife was out of town (she doesn't like anything Sci-Fi) so I figured that it was a good time to see a sci-fi movie. I had seen Batman Begins earlier in the week (won't take over this thread on that movie). Again, not a wonderful movie, but I enjoyed most of it. The ending seemed a little weak (I didn't know the whole story's outcome ahead of time), but that is often typical of "chase" movies.
Now, my wife is back, and guess what???? She wants to go see it. "But she hates sci-fi," I keep telling myself...
Hmmm, maybe I'll have to take her anyway as an excuse to just get out for dinner and a movie... Then again, she wants to see Bewitched, or the kids would love to see Madagascar.... Who knows....

Even had the lead actor and actress from the original in it at the end.
