Whenever these hurricanes show up I always like to check out the offshore weather bouys, currently the weather isn't too terribly bad. I remember seeing wave heights of over 55ft during hurricane Floyed just off the east coast of Florida a few years ago....let's go surfing!

F107....here's the link to the Florida and gulf bouys, you can go to the home page for worldwide info. I see the Dry Tortugas bouy is down, that one would be wild to see right now!
