hi i just got an old amplifier and new speakers from someone. the problem is, when i plugged it into the speakers it produced only very quiet sound even when turned up all the way. he had not had this problem and i am wondering if there is something i might be doing wrong before i shell out a gazillion dollars to have an "authorized dealer" break it again (like they did with my last amp)
thank you very much

never mind, i got it working. turns out it was expecting a return from my tape deck that wasnt plugged in. it was suppossed to go in a loop from (source, i.e. radio tuner)-->tape out-->tape in-->speakers so that if i was recording something i would be hearing exactly what was recorded. although i didnt receive any help, thanks anyway
