 Just got a great deal on HK 635

For those of you looking for a reciever to run your Axioms, I just bought a refrubished HK 635 for 594.00 (HK outlet is selling there refurbished for 698). I've been looking on Ebay to buy from HK themselves but couldn't win a auction for under 650. From this forum I liked the reviews of the 7300, but for the size of my room I went with 635. I think I'm ready to start my HT room. I've got my Axioms Speaker set coming anyday now. I can't wait.

You should love it, I have a little AVR110 and I cannot believe the sound I get out of my set up. M60, VP150, QS8 & EP500
I honestly cannot see an AVR upgrade until it dies.

i just won one on ebay for cheaper than what you saw them for. i just waited till last minute and BAM! it was mine. $567.99 plus shipping $35.00. im freakin pumped.

Congrats!!! Did you buy from Harman Kardon on ebay? I didn't want to bid on the 635 from Harman Kardon on ebay becuase they charge a sales tax for people in AZ. That is another $55 plus the $35 for shipping. I was going to buy from One call becuase it was $699 and no sales and with free shipping. I'm grateful I found the deal I did. It saved me at least a $100. I just got my shipping notice andsays it will be here on Friday. I'm very excited.

yes i bought it from them, and i live in cali so they charged me tax as well. the total came to $614.00.
