I have a 2000 mustang, and found out that the ep-600 will fit in the back seat, granted it fills up the entire back seat. Out of the box…
And I finaly got some of my system set up.. 60’s, vp150 and the ep-600 in a 90 square foot room… and the system sounds freaking awesome.. granted is about 10X overkill for my room, but well… overkill is good yeah?
Ill post some pictures later.

My Son has two 12"s powered by 900W in the back of his car; it sounds just what you'd expect it to, with two 12"s in the back of his car powered by 900W.
When he comes here to watch a movie with us, during music, his question is: "where's the sub"?
During normal effects it's "Where's the sub"?
When bombs explode, it's "Oh, there it is"
During music it's "Where's the sub"?
Just as it should be.

What, your sub doesn't sound like:
BOOM
BWAAAAD *rattle*
BWAAAAAAD *RATTLE*
BWAAAD *rattle*
BWAAAAAA
BOOM
I thought that was how bass was supposed to sound. With a little tinkling of music around the edges, right?

I don't believe there can be overkill. It just depends on how loud you like it.
Congrats on the system!

Hi Ken!
Apparently you have met my son
His sub(and system), as a matter of fact, currently sounds exactly as you've described it....right down to that little tinkling of music around the edges
He got the bug to add the sub(s) when he learned that I had purchased a new sub driver. So he hasen't quite got the set-up, or the philosophy dialed-in yet.
But we're workin' on it....
....he'll have a decient system motivatin' one day soon
