I want to purchase a Marantz SR5600. I auditioned the receiver with B&W 601's.. Does anyone with Axiom speakers have this receiver? What are your opinions? I would like them to power m22i's and qs8's with a vp150 center soon.

EP, there's no necessity(or even possibility)to try to "match" a receiver and speakers. The 5600 and any other similar receiver should be fine with your setup, so if there's something about its features which attracts you, there's nothing to be concerned about.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.

I have an SR5200 that drives my M22s with no problems whatsoever. Matter of fact, listening would become painful long before the Marantz or the M22s gave out. It drives a 5.1 system (M22s, QS4s, VP150) at very loud levels and never really gets warm. If you like the receiver (and I certainly enjoy mine) and it provides all of the features you need, I'd say you could certainly do far worse. Go for it!
M22ti mains, EP175 sub, VP150 center, QS4 surrounds
