Yeah, Sean, it would work, but only to a limited extent. Since the receiver doesn't have inputs to the amp section, the ICBM couldn't be connected between the pre-outs and amp-ins. It would be connected between the player and the receiver(and obviously wouldn't help with other program sources)and could be used for DVD-A/SACD bass management(maybe not a factor)or with a stereo analog output from the player. This wouldn't seem to be very cost-effective compared to spending say $500 on the HK435 which was mentioned, to get updated features including flexible bass management.

Greg needs a new receiver. Well since someone else has said it then it must be true. Maybe after the 1st of the year.
