It's actually a DVD soundtrack selection, ie go to "setup" in the DVD menu and look for a "DTS" option. Sometimes DTS is another "language" in the menu.

The receiver has to support DTS decoding but I think pretty much every receiver on the market decodes DTS these days.

Did you make it to Texas?
If yes, where?

Hi Amie

HG Wells' book didn't have the same plot problems, it was the first alien invasion science fiction novel - a classic.

Good to know. The Dwight Library didn't have it (stop laughing those of you who have been to Dwight, we do have a library!) so I will keep my eyes out for it when I am out and about.

Wow, there really is a library. From the brochure, it looks like it may not be wheelchair accessible but it is accessible by canoe or kayak.

I went to the library at lunch to see if the new WOTW was available. NOPE! Not even a copy in the racks yet, and I'd be No.363 on the waiting list......no thanks! I'll probably pick up a copy for the holidays.

They had the 1950's version the last time I was there but even that one was gone. I had to settle for three other movies: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Bourne Supremacy and Kung Fu Hustle.

Brady,
Now I have not yet made the move but construction on the my home is going fast. Should be done in Jan/Feb. We will be making our move in June. I have been thinking about moving out in March and the rest of the family later. The house is located outside of Austin in Cedar Park.

Actually, I'm pleased to report it is wheelchair *and* snowmobile accessible.

EddyZ, your library has great movie selections! I just read Hitchhiker's Guide this summer so I'd like to see the movie, although again I understand the older version was better (BBC). Let me know what you think!

SirClyde,

When you get into town, drop me a PM and maybe we can have lunch or I could help you get your system up and running.
I live in Round Rock...another 'burb to Austin...

I must have missed this information earlier...you taking a job here in Capital City?

Welcome to Texas!
