A friend of mine who is set on getting the M80's directed me here. I've read all the buzz and am very interested in a set of M60's. I hear the customer service here is great, so I'm not worried about returning them if I don't like them, but I just hate plunking down big money ($800 is still alot for some of us) without hearing the product. Does anyone who would be willing to let us come listen live in or near the Madison, WI area?

I thought they retailed Axioms in Canada, no?
Can't be that far of a drive from Wisconsin. Might be worth checking out their whole line. You could make a day of it!
Everytime I go to Mexico to pick up some prescription meds I make sure to get some Cuban cigars, catch a donkey show, and grab some top notch Tequila at a a discount. Doesn't Canada have some of that stuff?

There are very few store retailers of Axiom speakers left in Canada. They seem to be moving towards an online retailer only model and cutting out a middle man so to speak.
As for the cigars, yes, we can get cubans in Canada but without having to cross a border to do it. The donkeys, well they are scattered around i suppose and the tequila? Freshly imported from Mexico itself.

Donkeys, in the Great White North, you say, eh? And to think all this time I thought those four-legged animals with big ears that sort of look like a horse, were genetically altered beavers. Too bad, was kind of looking forward to the Fox network producing a prime-time special, "Beavers Gone Bad"! C'est la vie! Go Sens Go!

That's a hell of an idea BigWill. I love it! Listen to some speakers, grab some contraband stogies, watch a polar bear do the inter-species boogie, pack a case of Labatts in the car and head back to the border for a complimentary body cavity search! You guys on this board know how to have fun!
But seriously folks, I would love a road trip but I guess that would depend on where in Canada the closest dealer is located. The closest border we share is on Lake Superior, which is already an 8 hour drive form where I live.
BTW, thanks for the lively responses.

aej,
When is your friend going to get the M80's? I would push him to get them sooner, and let you listen to them to your heart's content. Pretty much everybody here agrees that the M60 sounds very, very similar to the M80. If you like the M80, you will like the M60, too.

That's what I was hoping was going to happen. I know he reads this board too, so lets all provide a little motivation---c'mon Mike, just buy 'em!!! (here's a little enabling behavior for you-I ordered the Outlaw 950 last night and it's on the way!)
