"Chicken Run" has a nice DTS-ES discrete 6.1 track. The DVD box doesn't really mention it. The movie doesn't use the surrounds a lot, but I love the 360 degree furnace burner pan, and the equipment delivery truck that drives over the top of you is also nice. The rest of the movie is just very nicely balanced sounding.

I love Chicken Run! I thought it was computer animation the first time I saw it. I was stunned to learn it was stop motion photography.

I agree it's a great stop motion animation movie. Every time we watch it, I'm reminded of watching Hogan's Heros as a child.
