Hi;
Has anyone used ATI amp with Axiom speakers? I'm planning to purchase a pair of M80ti to replace my ancient speakers and would also like to get an amplifier to be used with my HK 435 (as pre/proc). Thanks a lot.

The ATI 2000 will give you 300 watts per channel for the 4 ohm Axiom M80's, this should be a very nice amp for the speakers. How many channels will you be looking at? I believe a forum member by the name of NeverHappy had an ATI amp but he seems to have been AWOL for the last several months, *poof* ... gone like the wind.
By the way, welcome to the board Image!

I have a friend who had the ATI 2505? amp driving a pair of Michaura M665 towers (very much like the Axiom M60s). He replaced that amp with a Parasound Halo. The ATI, ran cool, quiet, had great sound quality at low or high volumes, and was a terrific amp. Looked like a piece of serious Soviet military hardware. He likes the Parasound, but it runs very warm to the touch. The Parasound is prettier. The ATI is one serious and terrific piece of equipment. I highly recommend their amps.

Welcome!
ATIs have a nice looking design and many options to start small and add channels.
Any model would work with your 435.

Thank you all for your informed responses, I'm planning to get the ATI 2007 (my other alternative is Parasound A51). I'm hesitate as of when Axiom will start offering wood venier but not sure if I can wait that long after reading all wonderful reviews!!!

ATI has been making some serious amps for years. They used to be callled SAE. They have a huge third party business producing amps for other companies that put their own moniker on them. One particular company that is very popular around here, Outlaw, is made by ATI. ATI's own are a step up. I have been considering one to replace my limping along Harmon Kardon PM-665xi.

......And back like bad gas! Took some time off from the forums. Had to make some changes to the sideline business and I re-did most of my system again. It took me way longer then planned.
As for ATI, they will power anything and everything just fine. Great amps that have incredible power reserves.

I forgot to mention that I still have an ATI kicking around here. The AT3007 - 7 channel monster. I'm not using it at the moment but it's around here somewhere!
