Hi,
I have had my new M22's up for about 3 weeks now and WOW! I was worried that they would not fill my 12x20 living room - boy was I wrong. They are soooo rich. The midrange is so enveloping and even though I do not have a sub, these things can rock! Anyway, I spent months trying to find the right speakers and it paid off. Anyone looking at this and has not bought Axiom, well, what are you waiting for?

Welcome and congrats on your purchase. Glad you enjoy your Axioms as much as the rest of us do.

Hi - no, not yet. I am sure it will add more range, but honestly, I don't think I need it right now. I listen to music (no movies) only via the speakers and the music I listen to sounds fantastic. I played with some other speakers while I was waiting for the speakers to come in and was worried becasue they did not reproduce the music well. But when I hooked up these babies, my concerns went away. As I grow in my audio collection and vary to music that needs more bass, I may need to add one. Thanks - M

Oh man mcarney, the M22's were great, but you won't believe how good they sound with a sub. It really adds a whole new arena of range to the M22's. They simply come alive with a sub!
When I first got my M22's, I was thinking, "I can't wait to see what these sound like when my sub comes." The sound gets much bigger and fuller.
M22's are MADE just to be coupled with a sub, they have nice, flat response down to the 80Hz range.
If you don't watch movies, an HSU STF-1 or an Axiom EP175 or 125 will do the trick!
