I haven't listend to the "newer" mirage equipment. I feel as though for some of their speakers they are bending towards marketing more than sticking with a product philosophy or improving on their previous designs.

I have their earlier BPS-S210 sub which is the best quality sub they have ever made (not biggest or loudest).

I have a feeling that the Axiom sub is at least equal quality to the OM200. It appears as though the OM200 is a different version of the BPS-S210 with smaller drivers, more peak power and built-in EQ controls. The construction seems similar.

If you are not concerned about the speaker not matching the rest of your speakers, it is a good buy. The quality is typically there for Mirage products and I don't think you will go wrong purchasing it.
