I'm not a big beer drinker, but my wife brought home a couple beers last night that I enjoyed, Shiner Bock from Texas, and a Harp Lager from the folks that make Guinness.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

I settled into the couch to watch TV tonight with a glass full of Young's Old Nick Barleywine. Very tatsy, but I'm sure it has nothing on that Old Guardian Tom wrote about.

Had a beer or two with the neighbour.
I'm not a microbrewery snob or anything... but was good to not have to work late to catch up or be anywhere... I brought over a Guinness, he served me a Corona afterward.

My mom had a Sam Adams at a restaurant. I decided to give beer the "I'll just have a sip" try...yet again.
My reaction?
"Bleeach!"
Guess I'll never like beer. Oh well.

You may just dislike pedestrian beer. Try something expecially tasty and you may change your mind. Start with Belgium.

Stelllllaaaaaaa... you know, I have one Stella Artois left in the fridge, and I can't even give it away... the guys drank around it to the hard lemonade and Smirnoff Twist and left that behind.
As a friend remarked on his trying it for the first time "oh, man... that's like tossing a skunk's salad!"

That's a horrible visual. Thanks, Bren. When I said Belgium, I was referring to the Abbey or Trappist brews, of course.

I think Stella Artois is heinous, even when it is fresh and not light-struck. That could be the most disappointing beer I've ever had.
