Setting up my first system. Used the EP125 set. The fuse on the sub blew right away not sure why but I'll replace it and hope for the best. I'm using a standard Samsung DVD player and it works fine with the system to an infocus projector. However if I plug a video (rca) out to the TV (Sharp Aqua) I get a lot of speaker noise feedback. If I don't connect it to the tv everything is fine. Any ideas and thanks for any assistance. Pat

Pat, I'm trying to understand. The EP125 is a sub, what other speakers do you have? Also, is the noise coming from the TV speakers or the Axiom speakers? What receiver do you have? More information may help us to understand your problem. Also, I would assume the TV has DVI or HDMI hookups, why use RCA?

Pat, welcome. On the noise, if you mean a hum when the TV is connected, this is usually caused by a groundloop in a cable TV input(if this is it, disconnect the cable TV to see if the noise disappears). Cable TV ground loop isolators are sold by Axiom and others if this is the problem.

Thanks so much for the advise; I'll try disconnecting the cable. I have the Axiom epic midi 125 set(http://www.axiomaudio.com/epicmidi_125main.html) 5.1 set. Receiver is a Sherwood R756 connected via component to the infocus projector. I should have run the Rapid run as I just now understand I can't run a VCR via component. This is my first install and it's really interesting stuff, can't wait to add a vista based computer to it. Again, thanks for the assistance.

Noise is from the Axiom speakers. The DVD player doesn't have HDMI and I didn't have a digital cable handy but perhaps that's a better solultion. thanks pat

John; problem is now solved thanks for the help. On to another question. What is the best way to get a tv cable signal out to the projector? Thanks again. Pat

I think you'll need a cable box that converts your signal into component/HDMI which you can feed into your A/V reciever for switching.
