One of the drives in one my new duplicators went bad; the company is going to swap it out when I send them the dead one. I feel so dumb...I used to work on my old computers all the time...but the power harness won't pull out and for the life of me, I don't remember if there's a "catch" on it that I'm not seeing. I don't want to force it, but want to get this shipped this morning and the supplier won't even be opening for a few hours (EST v. PST)... Is there a release or should I just yank it.... (Shut up, Peter!).

There's no lock or release to worry about. You might have to giggle it (no pun intenede Peter... ) from side to side to help it come loose since it's usually a tight connection.

Double check the bottom that is not shown in the pic for a squeeze release but the standard is that they don't have anything.
I've had to take needlenose pliers and use a small block braced against something to provide leverage. They can be extremely stubborn but should pull straight out.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

A thimble of C4 is always a tasteful way to finesse computer equipment.

Molex connectors and me... well we just don't get along. I've had titanic battles in tight places with those bastards. Stubborn, inflexible, incredibly difficult to remove once installed. Not surprising it was designed by Germans.

As opposed to a bad yank? Oh, "yank" not "wank"...
Sorry. Never mind.
If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.
