are they all the same or mixed ? I really like the CHerry Nutmeg, but at $2041 out-of-range;( I like the HG CHerry and Warm Cherrywood, Mansfield Beech and Boston Cherry. Guess I like cherry. I think I am want the Black in the QS-8's so they would dissappear and a black/ebony centre so it doesn't draw attention to it self , but really do not know what I want for Front L/R. Currently, I have all black ... Does anyone else mixed up thier colour selection ? yes, I am Canadian so color is colour same as Z is Zed not Zee

I'm a color mixer:
Black up front (EP500, M80v2 x 2, VP150), black grills Beige in the back (QS8 x 2), gold grills
It makes sense. Trust me. Film at eleven.

I can understand changing the colour of the QS8s to match the decor...I like having all front 3 speakers the same tho...in my case, they are all Boston Cherry...
WAF require blending QS8s I imagine...

Mine are clear! Really, you can see right through them, because they don't exist. Yet. Maybe some cherry red laminate?

I've actually bought for the future. All black mains, sub and soon the center so they'll be nothing to distract from the picture.
My QS8s however will be Cherry with black grills.
Just about to order the QS8s finally. Then I'll only have my center channnel left to buy (at least speaker wise).

I went with all black. (Actually, I had chosen the Boston Cherry but my wife suggested that I strongly consider the black and I had learned long ago that strongly consider means order the black.)

I wanted Boston Cherry but since I don’t know if my next HT room will require them to be in front of the screen I got black to be safe.

Personally, I was a little leery of going with Boston Cherry at first. However, since my second Axiom system is in Black, I knew I didn't want Black for my main system as well.
The other deciding factor for me, was due to the way I designed my theater room. The ceiling and walls are painted in Black and while this would be a good reason for some to choose Black for their speakers as well (as they would disappear when the lights are off) that didn't interest me, or should I say it wasn't a concern.
Regardless of how good of a value a piece of equipment or gear is in this hobby, it's still expensive nonetheless. I didn't want to hide them in any way. Plus I wanted to have some contrast but not too much. Hence the reason I chose Boston Cherry instead of the Mansfield Beech.
Bottom line, I couldn't be happier with my choice. The Boston Cherry looks sooo nice in person, much better then the pics shown via Axioms website.
They display very nicely when the lights are turned down low or up high, and much to my surprise, they disappear when the lights are out the projector is up and running.
All that said, you can't go wrong with Black though. It's still a color I'm very fond of and it goes/blends with any decor.

Shut up! I have the Boston Cherry for everything EXCEPT the center channel, which is black. Since the center is more closely tied to the TV aesthetically, it made sense to me at the time. But my subsequent lust for the VaSSallo finishes has left me vaguely unsatisfied.

I went with light maple for all the speakers. I pretty much feel I made the wrong choice. I have a pair of m60's now on order and I have selected black this time. I have about as much color sense as my dog.

On behalf of all Bots, thank you, thank you.
You are obviously a wise and kind gentleman. Kind of like the old guy from Cleveland. Except you consume more fermented beverages. To each his own!

Mine be light maple, black grill, WAF was highest for these and the high contrast from the grills makes them very striking. If I could, I would trade them in for the HG Cherry. [drool]

My M22s and VP100 are Boston Cherry. The EP500 is Black Oak, because a sub should be heard and not seen.

Vinyl Black across the front, and vinyl cherry across the back. ....ok...the cherry was across the front in the old house, but the wife wanted black in the new. We just moved the fronts to the back. uh...we had a brand "X" center for a while, long time ago.
