I've actually bought for the future. All black mains, sub and soon the center so they'll be nothing to distract from the picture.
My QS8s however will be Cherry with black grills.
Just about to order the QS8s finally. Then I'll only have my center channnel left to buy (at least speaker wise).

I went with all black. (Actually, I had chosen the Boston Cherry but my wife suggested that I strongly consider the black and I had learned long ago that strongly consider means order the black.)

I wanted Boston Cherry but since I don’t know if my next HT room will require them to be in front of the screen I got black to be safe.

Personally, I was a little leery of going with Boston Cherry at first. However, since my second Axiom system is in Black, I knew I didn't want Black for my main system as well.
The other deciding factor for me, was due to the way I designed my theater room. The ceiling and walls are painted in Black and while this would be a good reason for some to choose Black for their speakers as well (as they would disappear when the lights are off) that didn't interest me, or should I say it wasn't a concern.
Regardless of how good of a value a piece of equipment or gear is in this hobby, it's still expensive nonetheless. I didn't want to hide them in any way. Plus I wanted to have some contrast but not too much. Hence the reason I chose Boston Cherry instead of the Mansfield Beech.
Bottom line, I couldn't be happier with my choice. The Boston Cherry looks sooo nice in person, much better then the pics shown via Axioms website.
They display very nicely when the lights are turned down low or up high, and much to my surprise, they disappear when the lights are out the projector is up and running.
All that said, you can't go wrong with Black though. It's still a color I'm very fond of and it goes/blends with any decor.

Mine are Vermont Maple for the M80s, M50s, and VP100. The QS4s are Mansfield Beech.

Shut up! I have the Boston Cherry for everything EXCEPT the center channel, which is black. Since the center is more closely tied to the TV aesthetically, it made sense to me at the time. But my subsequent lust for the VaSSallo finishes has left me vaguely unsatisfied.
