I WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE WHO MAY HAVE TAKEN OFFENSE TO THE INSANELY BRIGHT SPEAKER THREAD. I'M SURE AXIOM MAKES A FINE PRODUCT. AFTER BRINGING HOME THE B&W'S I AM A LITTLE STUNNED. THIS IS A VERY AVERAGE SPEAKER. I COULD STAND A BRIGHT SPEAKER FOR AWHILE AFTER LISTENING TO THAT MESS. YOU NEED ALOT OF POWER TO DRIVE THOSE PUPS.

It's all good. So are you going to return the b&w's and get axioms?

IT'S A POSSIBILITY. DARN Cap locks. But which one, bookshelf or tower? Does anyone like the m50ti? It seems as though they aren't as popular.

littleb,
Popularity still has no bearing on the exceptional abilities of a well made speaker.
Look at Bose for example...
"Those who preach the myths of audio are ignorant of truth."

I don't take offense. I just think it's funny. What did the guy do, wear them like headphones?

It simply sounds like you prefer a mellow, laid back sound. If that's the case, by all means check out the M50's.
The M60 is going to sound like the M22's big brother. Fuller, bigger, stronger, but sonically very, very similar to the M22. So if you didn't like the M22, you'll probably want to steer clear of the M60's as well.

You also might want to check out the M3s. Same tweeter as the M50, smaller box.

After all that's happened, perhaps you could just order the M3s for the 30 day trial offer. I'm sure you'll find it way better than almost anything in the price range.
I myself have never heard the M22s but it seems to be the most popular bookshelf of Axiom right now. If people say that the M3 is more laid back as compared to the M22, I'm really wondering because I find the M3 itself to be much more exciting than all others I've heard till date, especially the B&W. So take the plunge, order the M3 or the M22 and give it a go. You have very little to lose.
