I've been looking into the Axiom M3Ti monitors, to use 5 of them for my Hometheater in my room. my subwoofer is a DIY Tempest Sonotube design, and my reciever is a Maranetz SR4200 reciever with 75x5 watts of power.

that is a rough sketch of my room. thanks.

Wow... the room looks like very well tamed for standing waves! Did you do some calculations determining these dimensions? Of course you will install a front projector there, right?
Any particular reason for you to prefer the monopole surrounds over the QS series? Also, people here will tell you that the M22 has more crisp, detailed, airy, forward and accurate sound than the M3. The M3s tend to be more laid-back, mellow and relaxed as I understand.

You mentioned having a question and then didn't ask anything.

LOL! you're right!
it took me 3 tries to get the post to work, and i suppose by the third one, the question had been ommited from my post >=)
sorry about that!!
my question was, will the M3tis be able to preform well in that room? the fronts will be 8' from listening position, and the surrounds are about.. 6"-12" behind the listener and 5' off the ground.
so the speakers and listener are all contained in about a 12'x12' square.
if the Axioms wont be able to bring the room up to reasonably high levels, i'll try the bigger models, or go with Klipsch or Paradigm

Yes James, that is a rather unusual listening room you've got, but the usual advice doesn't change. If you prefer the slightly elevated upper bass and slightly recessed lower midrange of the M3s, which give an impression of being "fuller" and a bit "laid-back", then the M3s should suit you very well, although I would suggest the flatter M2s and/or M22s. Also, you should consider whether for surrounds the broader dispersion of the QS4 or QS8 might be more to your liking.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.
